ENTER THE PRELIMS
Carpe Noctem (Seize the Night) - Week #5

The intervals of hard rain continue to pour and I'm here in my room typing with the light of the screen on my face. On my computer desk, a carton of Nestle Fresh Milk, a scanner covered with a small light blue towel, and a cellphone resting after a long day of txting.

The weekend has been rain and sounds like static on a channel without a signal on television. There's no ceiling outside, and only the thin roofing keeps the water out. The sound is terrible, annoying, and distracting.

I've edited about 60% of the tape, and since the only battery given to me ran out... I had to include un-edited footage which equals a total of 75% complete documentary. The remaining 25% will have to be shown via the Video Camera to classmates tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, is there school? Sounds like a question an Elementary or High School student would ask. I don't know, but one day to not have school this week should be Monday. Imagine. Tomorrow no school. Meaning, no NSTP and no INTRO... two simple and practical subjects that have become gigantic giants tomorrow if it goes through. In INTRO, there's a presentation about the history of our school that groups in class must roleplay into. And in NSTP there's this presentation, with a humiliating 75% documentary and not my best work.

No classes tomorrow would mean I can prepare a logo (my contribution to the group, which stands pending as I type this) in INTRO and in NSTP... I can beef it up and complete the 1 hour long documentary complete with even opening and closing credits like I did for "Florante at Laura" back in my 2nd year High school.

However, no classes tomorrow would mean the AB COMM CHANNEL initial meeting would be postponed. I kind of want to get the AB COMM CHANNEL initial meeting over with.

So the whole week stands to be another wet, and rainy series of events. No more documentary shooting like last week, but this week I'm very nervous for the "Preliminaries" which start Thursday. I'm prepared because there's not much we covered yet in all the subjects... yet my gut isn't prepared. I get the same feeling when I'm eating on a typical Thursday night... sick to my stomach of not eating food from home anymore. That feeling like I'm going to throw up, but still I can't do that.

By the end of the week, hopefully the mood will be greater then ever. I'm feeling down and low right now on this Sunday night. Half-edited tape, no logo, prelims this week... and rain rain and more rain.

I now enter the Fifth Week of School...
