"With all that Extra Time during a One-subject Preliminary day."
Thursday. The day of the first ever college exam, or the 1st Year, 1st Semester, Preliminaries. Only one subject, Sining ng Kommunikasyon from 2-3pm. That meant, I could wake up anytime in the morning! For the first time ever, from sleeping in my dorm for the past four weeks... I no longer had to wake up for a class at 7am! It felt weird... being able to stay in my bed and relax. Not rush during a shower or eating breakfast or trying to get suited.
Still, Lance is at home in Cavite City since he's sick. How about his Preliminaries?... I ask and txt Lance in concern... even my classmate Eric asks (Lance, you got people who care about you... hello...)... no reply. Jan is also taking his tests, and it seems with Lance being absent there's this different feeling. Joel is always around, in fact he's surfing with me now... walking around campus with me when my classmates go home, having lunch and dinner off-campus now... with Lance's absence we met the neighbors behind our back window (2 girls)... Lance, Lance, Lance... you're missing out!!
The first exam earlier, SINING NG KOMMUNIKASYON (SINING/FILIPINO) was pretty easy for all the hype. It's quite different from High School now. In Old Atheneum, you'd end up taking 8 in one school year. At DLSU-D at anytime, it would be 6 in one school year excluding summer of course. The exams are multiple choice, matching type, essay... true or false... and the amount of items is smaller. Added you might just get one or two subjects in one whole day... plus you are free to study... all the space and all the formalities of it is easy. The only problem is that these exams, although seemingly easy, weigh a lot. Be it you get a high score, then cheers and a big hooray! But if you fail... then it's a 3 ton addition of weight on your grades.
Battle Realms tonight and studying for two exams tomorrow. They are FUNDAMENTALS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH (REED) at 10am and GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY (GEN-PSY/PSYCHO) at 4pm. I'm armed with reviewers and ready to conquer!
