The Fun & Freedom of Tuesday

I'm at ERS right now with Joel. I've enjoyed a whole day of freedom. Freedom to review. Freedom to go anywhere. Freedom to sleep beyond the threshold that is 7 o'clock in the morning.

I've dedicated this day to resting and to making reviewers for the exams I have the rest of this week. I've also been spending lots of time with my friend Joel. We hung out together at the big Botibot. It was our first time there. We ate out at Fiat again, and played Warcraft III at Netopia. Lance on the other hand, is no where to be found other than at the dorm or in his own little world most of the time.

This morning I wasn't used to staying in bed as my roommates headed for their exams. Lance has two exams and Jan had one at noon. I remained in the room just chilling out and catching up on sleep. The jog this morning was postponed, and I think it's worth it. Waking up to a day of absolute freedom to study was just great.

I went out at 1pm to go to Fiat and eat there. The lady just keeps serving free rice (rice all you can) and the Crispy Liempo was exactly as it was described. Crisp with a salty after taste. Quite good I might add. Joel reviewed for his Sining.

Wait. Why the hell am I so free today?

It's because JOU1-1 only has one exam on Tuesday. Sining ng Kommunikasyon. I'm in the foreigners class now so my exam is on Saturday. I didn't encounter my class as a whole at any time today, though I wanted to it's just my timing was focused on freedom rather than "be here at this time".

My Sightings...

I saw Eric and Kuya Rheyan heading for DPH 206 for Sining as I took my exit out of the guys' dorms. I saw Tina and Upper after the testing period and they told me about our Professor's Sining exam was lengthy and amusing as it featured "Laban o Bawi". Taking note my Prof in JOU1-1 Sining also teaches Foreigners' Filipino on Saturdays.

I saw Danielle and Kats as I entered the ERS with Joel a few minutes ago. I also saw Ate Angge and Erian finishing up the former batch (the hour before ours) at ERS. All of them, the classmates I saw, had this postive smile on their faces.

While Joel took his Sining exam (almost all Freshmen take up the same exam on a given day. Sining/Filipino is today.) I was at GMH at the Heraldo Filipino. I logged in and met a girl from the Literary Section who is from COM3-3 or Communication Arts 3rd Year 3rd Section. Oliver was also there working on the current research for the HF Exhibit.

The Managing Editor, Kuya Eric, (not my classmate, the Features' Writer Eric Salta)... and he told me that he wants me to put together ideas and revive the HF Website. A moment I didn't know what to do. I felt like I darted my way to the very center of this dream in my head. I make the School Paper. Then I make it to a position where I can contribute for a website.

I met with Joel again downstairs at the Admin area and we headed to square canteen where I met up with Candy. I told Candy that our opportunity to eat out is this week. Tomorrow night, Lance, myself, Candy, Rachelle, Lorraine... Joel, and maybe their roomates' will all go out for dinner.

Right now I'm planning on studying and working on remaining reviewers. My exams on wash-day Wednesday are Literature at 10am and Algebra at 12nn. My exams on Thursday are Ecology and Kasaysayan. My exams on Friday are ReEd and Psychology. And my exam on Saturday is Foreigners' Filipino.

As I typed this, Jennifer Arboleda, a classmate, sighted me and came here. ΓΌ

I dedicate this entry to Joel. Thanks for waiting for me at HF, thanks for willingly eating out with me for Lunch at crispy Fiat's earlier, and thanks for the trip to the church to light up candles... thanks. It's much appreciated!!

To my classmates at JOU1-1. Study well classmates, as I do the same.
