STOP CRYING YOUR HEART OUT
The Damage Report - Week #11

NOTE: this is a post that is made to give a summary of events that has happened at DLSU-D during the finished week. usually posted saturday nights.

The week has been a stir and for once it stirred towards the right direction. My timing has improved, although it isn't perfect... it's getting there somewhere. I haven't been seriously late to any class now.

It's basically the very center now of the First Semester here at DLSU-D. My first year of college just 25% done. It has been busy and I'm glad I've gotten myself rooted into some organizations which has exposed me to more people of all year levels and interests.

This week it was all perfectly balanced. The [Heraldo Filipino] loosened it's grip as I submitted two articles on Monday. The next few normal University and non-exam days should be dedicated to assisting in a 10-member research team for something due two or three weeks from now.

In the [VPAPU], a lot of positive is going on. I used to be tense around the officers, but I've loosened up now and feel my fellow probees, the officers, and Ms. Joy Parohinog are family. That's the way it is inside the small Cultural Arts Office. (CAO). Lately, we've been having meetings. We've received a sneak peek at several DLSU-D and DLSU (All for the Love of Thee) events this year that the VPAPU will be handling. Unfortunately, (haha) ...I was assigned as Technical Manager for the great PAG Recital in late-September.

Technicals?! Wires.... Lights.... Power Cords... attaching it... plugging it in.... ?!!

I know I joined VPAPU and I wanted experience, but I was shocked to find I was assigned to something I thought the probee-technical wizards would be doing it. That would be Uroh and Gerald of HRM. I thought I would be in charge of something a little less dramatic. I mean, it's the Recital of the other PAG orgs like Teatro, Pop Band, Pointes, Filipiniana... at least the only thing keeping me sane is the very wise Kuya Gotch (officer) who can teach me how this whole thing works properly.

Let's forget that for now. For the [AB COM CHANNEL] (isang "M" pala iyon), it's been running errands. I never knew what the fuck an "Idiot Board" was until Joanna showed me. Okayz. I made one for the female host, Ate Kristine. Two segments, one is "Faraway Home" and the other is about University School Council President Jay Olle.

I entitled my journal entry for Thursday this week as "The Ideal College Day". It was complete. I didn't slack in class. I had a nice jog with Joel around the dark campus of DLSU-D early morning. Than I wasn't late for any class the rest of the day. I felt energized. I studied good in Algebra and for once I believe I passed. I had meetings with VPAPU, perfectly scheduled at 5:30pm in which I wasn't late for. I met my tutor, the Peter Parker of DLSU-D... Kuya Christian of 3rd Year Communication Arts. He's helping me along with Ate Chloe (his classmate) in a special free tutorial for my Kasaysayan class sponsored by the Guidance Office of CLA.

The only thing missing from that Ideal day was a balanced time for leisure. I didn't get to play the addicting Warcraft III scenario (like Diablo II) with Lance, Joel, and Basil. We're going to play tonight (Friday night) before I head off with Lance to Nikki's house down the road.

I'm with Kuya Rheyan right now at ERS. We're going to eat and then I'm going to PEHM. It's almost outta time so I have to conclude this and perhaps update it at a later time.

TITLE IN REVIEW: Honestly, the title has nothing to do with the feeling of the week. It's the tune of the song! Anyways, this week the music in my head were flashback classics from my High School and Middle School. From Matchbox 20's "Push" to the latest Nelly "Dilemma". I searched for something to title this good week, and nothing came to mind. It's the tune of this Oasis song that just drives this week. The lyrics of it would fit to something like my best friend Bryan's despidida last April 20 or something. =)
