A Ghost Ship sinks the Appetite of some Journmates

We watched another movie at Ate Angge's house, it would be the third one to date. It was also the first pirated movie we watched. Honestly speaking, I don't like watching these advanced movies because of the low quality it has. Watching crisp-clear movies like "Save the last dance" and "Moulin Rouge" was fun and more interesting last week.

The movie we watched was "Ghost Ship". I only understood about 70% of it. I enjoyed the movie nevertheless, it was a different taste this time compared to all the dance grooves and beats of last week. The first scene of this movie is beyond brutal! Sana ma-convince ko ang ka-dorm mates ko na bumili ng hotdog tapos kainin nila yun sa harap ng TV o PC screen. Promise, there's a guaranteed after-effect that will leave your stomach growling for the nearest bathroom or trash recepticle!

I tried to guess the era of the first scene. It wasn't Present Day, it was showing what made the ship a Ghost Ship. I noted it couldn't be the 1940s... so I guessed the 1960s. The brutal scenes and the people there were from 1962! Cool. La lang, I wanted to express that. Eric, stop staring at me.

The movie went by fine, and by all means- short. It felt like it went by too fast which left a void of free time around 45 minutes till 11:30pm. Some of the girls with us (with Jerson and myself, since we are always outnumbered!) started doing make-overs or re-touching, while GMA7 or ABS-CBN2 was on with those shows like SIS. (we are sisters, we are sisters!)

It's also on this trip that we had the most amount of people over ate Ate Angge's. Kate Q and company joined us this time. We would be travelling in Orange Tricycle Convoys during the late-morning hours in and out of the Sub division. Sana next time makuha ko ito sa camera. I want to work on a "Day in the Life of a Broadcast Journalist", parang special to capture the activities we do and also inspired by the words of the Chair of the AB Com (and Broad Journ) Ms. Ann Sarile.

Anyways we arrived in Sociology late despite finishing the movie nearly an hour before class. We chipped off our first Quiz in class, I couldn't concentrate since we did just "run" from the Main Gate. I'm not sure about how the others who went to Ate Angge's faired out on this quiz, I for one blanked out and I know my impression on the Professor has turned back into disastrous like last Sem. I'm looking for a pick-me-up next meeting.

After class I logged into the HF, and then I saw Maycee with Jeremy!! Jeremy is back!! Geezus, I sound so happy. Well I am happy, we all should be. One of Broadjourn's great dancers and class comedians has to returned to La Salle! And he's shifting... he just wants to get a degree I think and he might go from JournaliSM to TouriSM. Huh?! Broadjourn ka na lang Jem!

I checked if any of my submitted articles yesterday were edited so I could quickly re-edit them myself and submit it, then ask for more. (sira ako talaga ngayon, *cough* charrigh) Seriously, I've completed five articles for the HF these past eight days. I've a lot to catch up on from my absense at HF last semester.

After HF, I passed by VPAPU peeps who are hosting their contribution event to the Cultural Arts Festival (through November), which is ASTIG. Painting competitions in locations across the campus, also invited are neighboring schools. If I remained in the VPAPU, I would be excused from classes today to help handle this....

I encountered a new FilAm friend of mine at the Square Canteen when I dropped by to pick up a Ham and Cheese sandwich from the Jaypee's Stall (they have the best ham and cheese sandwiches amidst the bias bitches, oooops, who run the drinks and hot dog stand). She confessed her love for me.

---record stops---

Actually no. She confessed the problems a certain high authority of a certain department in ERH was giving her tungkol sa foreign version of a filipino class. I stood with her and told her that this was probably abuse or just some over-board security crisis this certain someone was putting on her. Oh well, I supported her and told her we could meet some other time.

I ran to the dorm to eat and quickly make a research paper about Family Care for NSTP-CWTSP. It was 2:25pm on my cellphone and I was already late for class... but when I arrived it had barely started.

And since I'm at ERS after NSTP-CWTSP, and I'm sitting in front of this extremely cold-aircondition where every key letter to type makes my finger want to snap off due to freezing, I can't talk on about NSTP. It's just that tonight I think I'm finally going to hit the gym with some dorm mates.

And by the way, my friend Lance (member of G7), has finally started a blog. But it's not actually ready yet, it's under construction with those blinking lights.
