ALL FOR THE LOVE OF THEE
Carpe Noctem (Seize the Night) - Start of Week #23

NOTE: this is a special weekly posting that is made prior to moving back to my dorm in La Salle. it is about upcoming events this week and notes on it. this is usually posted on sunday afternoons.

I need to leap back into the responsibilities of being an apprentice writer of the Heraldo Filipino. Last week I was totally drained of energy to get myself working. Bad news first, I haven't started on any of my articles due tomorrow. I have an idea on all of them, it's just the facts are in a notebook that isn't in my possession right now.

I just hope that I start the week as smoothly as possible even with these last-minute articles for me. I've had two weeks to think them over and once again it's a last minute thing. Ych ych ych.

Good News? The "All for the love of thee" staged play this year features my classmate William Kristoffer Eusores (To-peh) as one of the top roles. He's not the leading role, but he's like 2nd to leading. Anyways, he's been practicing ages for this and now it's going to actually happen. It's set at De La Salle - Santiago Zobel over the first three days of the week.

Unfortunately, the assigned timeslot JOU1-1 is to watch this play about the life of St. John Baptist De La Salle is on Monday (tomorrow) at 2pm. William has an alternate, and obviously it'll be him then another person then him then another person. Well, it so happens that his alternate will be the one during our timeslot. We'll be watching William as just an extra. Ych ych ych.

Classmates Leah Sison and Jonee Ochoco as members of the DLSU-D Chorale will be doing background vocals and singing for the staged production. Like in my image here, We wish our very own the very best!

TEATRO LASALLIANA (with classmates Arjay, Athena, Jhen and William) and VPAPU (where i used to be at) will be handling backstage production of this production. Once again, the painful feeling when I see my former affiliated organization right in front of me handling something like this.

Tuesday and Thursday will involve Swimming. My make-up quiz in swimming is on Tuesday due to last Thursday's lack of a swimcap which rendered me absent.

Heraldo Filipino focus and layout this week. And in dorm life I'm hoping my addiction to ZEUS lowers just a bit. I'm also going to maintain the cleanliness of my third of the room. Broadjourn Dormers' night out is also scheduled like usual on Wednesdays.

In Academics hopefully I'll improve in BioSci and other subjects that are starting to slouch.

In all ways and by all means, I'm looking forward to another great week! I just hope I got the strength and energy to continue in Heraldo Filipino and make up for lost time last week.

By the way, thanks Eric Salta for the quote you sent to me. It surprised me because it's the most relative quote to my life lately and my problems. I'll put it here.

God Said...
"Trials are not a reason to give up but a
challenge to improve yourselves. Problems
are not an excuse to backout but an inspiration
to move forward. GOD BLESS and take care!"
