But I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be...me
I am so down and depressed right now. I've never felt this kind of isolation. I mean, if I'm feeling like this just for the lack of company of being with the guys and all... how would not being with the girl I would love be like? It's scary. I'm at home now after a four-day stay with the guys at the dorms in La Salle. I'm feeling bad because the fun of going places sort of faded away so quickly. The uncertainty of the Kuwaiti guys' skeds (Karl, Brian, and Basil) added with Aldrich's departure to Guam in a few days just depresses me even more.
Lance, on the other hand, is as cool and steady right now. I can also be glad to say that Lance and I NEVER had a single serious conflict ever since we entered College... no wait, it could go further back... ever since before graduation in High School. We've been cool with each other this past year. And I've seen his best and worst points of Freshmen Year College since he's my room mate.
Let me break it down:
Karl Gullermo (from Kuwait, F9)- He's addicted to the "Para Para Paradise 2nd Mix" game in front of X-Site just as much as Aldrich. He went to Festival twice with Aldrich and myself over the past weekend. We've been cool especially during the two trips to Festival Mall the past weekend.
Basil Al-Obaidly (from Kuwait, F9)- I learned more from him recently. Basil seems to be the most practical of the three from Kuwait. He told me the secrets of his own budgeting. Although Basil doesn't have the highest allowance, he will never go broke with his finances. He sleeps early every night and he makes sure he eats when he needs to eat. Cool. We ate out at KFC (just us) on Friday night after Course Card. The other guys couldn't go due to money restraints.
Brian Malcon (from Kuwait, F9)- Very smart in ways of finding words to say in trap situations. I haven't had much talk with him compared to Basil and Karl over the past weekend.
Aldrich Poblete (from Guam, F5)- The one who's spun Lance and myself into fashion frenzy. Well, that sounds too frank. He's probably the one with the biggest influence in the group. Currently together in a relationship with one of my own classmates, he'll be returning to Guam for Summer Vacation. We were together with Karl over the past weekend and Aldrich is addicted to playing that "Para Para Paradise 2nd Mix" game at the front of X-Site.
Lance Prodigalidad (F3)- We seemed to have traded places. He was with the guys all last week, and when Lance went home during the weekend, I went to spend my weekend at the dorms and at the malls. We only met each other again for sure on Monday. I owe him P200 pesos, since I ran broke last Sunday night at 2015 hrs.
Joel Garcia (F11)- He's been in his home inside Fort Bonifacio. He hasn't been with the guys the past week that much. He's constantly calling and txting us over the weekend. When he txt'd us one time "I miss you guys", I thought he was going a little too mushy. I replied "Well, we miss you too. come to the dorm, man.". And now, who's missing the guys and outings more?
I can't wait till there's another outing. I think there's one on Wednesday. Everyone is going to be there. Including Joel.
Sigh.
Should I even be depressed about being isolated here in Tanza?
I can get hit by a paintball twice close-range, but I would be alright as long as I'm with the guys.
I can be left alone for a few seconds just to throw away some gum and find the guys meters ahead of me without turning back, but I would be alright as long as I'm with them still.
As long as I'm with them, I should be alright.
