THE JOU2-1 AND COM2-4 ISSUE

SIR Palad will hold a meeting later at 1 o'clock in the afternoon with the current JOU1-1 (us). He's going to talk to us about the establishment of a 4th Section in AB Communications Batch 2006. Arranged, it would go something like this.

Current School Year 2002 - 2003
COM1-1, COM1-2, COM1-3, and JOU1-1
COM2-1, COM2-2, COM2-3, COM2-4, and JOU2-1
COM3-1, COM3-2, COM3-3, and COM3-4
COM4-1, COM4-2, and COM4-3

Next School Year 2003 - 2004
COM1-1, COM1-2, COM1-3, COM1-4, and JOU1-1
COM2-1, COM2-2, COM2-3, COM2-4, and JOU2-1
COM3-1, COM3-2, COM3-3, COM3-4, and JOU3-1
COM4-1, COM4-2, COM4-3, and COM4-4

The department is clearly getting larger every year, and so is Broadjourn. A COM2-4 will open up to incoming AB Comm students shifting in from other courses (including: Dorm mate Ben, Polsci students Abbey and Len) and into Broadjourn (Dorm mate Joel, Allen's classmate).

However, the faculty of AB Comm has decided that students who originally signed up for AB Comm but ended up into Broadjourn (with us) will have (or will have the choice) to move into the new COM2-4. And the people really interested into moving into Broadjourn will be in Broadjourn. This could split the class!

More news as this develops after the meeting with our adviser in a few minutes.
