YESTERDAY
I was surfing yesterday but I didn't feel like making any entries. Anyways, we had a meeting with some officers of the 2nd Year Broadjourn. The latest issue to rock the corners of our classroom is the friction being caused by the construction of the first Broadcast Journalism Program Council. There are only two sections in Broadjourn right now (JOU1-1 and JOU2-1) with two sections coming next year (JOU1-1 and JOU1-2). Our course is growing and the Program Council is being rushed to be created so things could be set in motion.
But the methods of electing officers into the BJPC has been quite difficult. It's a puzzle that the larger JOU1-1 and 21-student JOU2-1 have to face. How will the elections occur? We've had sentiments that the pioneer class has prospects of dominating every single position of the first-ever BJPC. That has angered some classmates because it's unfair. I'm sure there's a solution to all of this, and I'm hoping the formation of this "Broadcast Journalism Program Council Commitee" will ease the ties between our two sections. Communication is key to a successful integration of our two sections, in my belief. I believe in the Pioneer Class and understand their frustrations, I just hope they understand us as well. And in the end, we all have the same thing in common. WE are a FAMILY and BOTH of us are striving side by side to strengthen Broadjourn in DLSU-D. This commitee needs its first goal to be set as connecting all the JOURN sections into a union.
At home I arranged the furniture in my room. All because my brother moved my mom's stereo component which has een collecting dust the past few months since we can't find the adapter to plug that thing in. When he moved the component and the table that was with it, a part of my room opened up and my mind explored the possibilities. I found myself re-arranging the location of the bed and the sofa allowing an "entertainment area" to open up. More space to walk was my #1 goal.
On Buffy it was the episode Tara died which would now enflame Willow in absolute anger forcing her to turn into a powerful evil witch while on Charmed it was "Siren Song", a new episode from Season 5.

TODAY
Right now I'm at ERS with Kate, Ate Angge, Rona, Jhen, and Eric. We're just surfing like usual. Ate Angge and I furnished our Chapter One for the Research Paper in ENGL102 earlier. And in Philosophy, we had a quiz about Human Nature and Interhuman. We took some pictures with Eric's camera (one including Ms. de Leon) and went to Square Canteen to eat before going here.
Planning for this Saturday has intensified. We now have a list of people going. Our Philo make-up class has been changed from Saturday into Friday and into next Monday. Meaning, this Saturday we are all swimming in Indang from late morning to mid-afternoon.
