To Go or Not to Go, that is the Question

I'm not sure what I'm doing right now. I'm working on Project BJ6, but my mind is worried about the articles I have for the Heraldo Filipino's News Section. Tomorrow (er, Today... Friday) is the last day I have a chance to conduct interviews of people for my articles. Next week I'll be in Ilocus Sur with Eric and Maycee and our editors. And the week after that, these articles are due.

The thing is, there's nothing drawing me to the campus tomorow other than these interviews. I've never experienced this before. I always "dorm" inside La Salle when I conduct these interviews. I always have classes when it comes to working on these articles. But now, there aren't any classes. And there isn't a dorm to crash into. It's home, three hours worth of commuting to and from, and no classmate or friend on campus to meet with and talk to.

If I do decide on going, I'll have the possibility of finishing all these articles for News... setting my mind free for our trip to Ilocus Sur for the CEGP (College Editors Guild of the Philippines) conference.

Aaaachk... Ugh... decisions decisions. If anyone can just draw all the laziness and hatred of commuting away from me... if only I had a car to drive to La Salle... if only I had a license to drive in the first place... ^o^

My dad won't be coming home tomorrow as we sort of expected from what he told us. It so happens there's this Typhoon right now in Guam so his ship has to leave port. Just when his replacement is supposed to arrive today. It's always bad timing. It's always friggin' bad timing for him. First, the war in Iraq that extended his stay on-board that ship in the Gulf. Next, the whole damn SARS thing which affected Southeast Asia especially Singapore... where his home port is at. Then he goes to Guam, and before he can stay there to get replaced by someone... some damn typhoon comes.

Well anyways, here's to later today. Whether I decide to leave the house and accomplish things or decide to stay in the house and relax for a Friday... let it be a decision made without any regrets. *grabs a San Mig Light*
