A little bit of Ballet... Church... and Art

I'm at ERS surfing with Eric, Ate Angge, and Joanna. We just finished up going to a mass at the University Chapel. Mr. A. Sepeda (our prof in Reed103) told us to attend the mass and we didn't have to attend class. He is one of the singers in the newly formed group of singers here at DLSU-D named "Tropa ni Juan" (Juan, as in St. John the Baptist de La Salle).

This morning we finished up our 2nd meeting in PE103, Foreign Dance. There was already an exam about Exercises 1 to 4. I practiced last night at the dorm with Joseph (of Polsci2-1, same prof, same subject, different time) and we must've looked weird doing ballet-like moves in front of everyone else who visited my room.

Anyways, the practice was worth it and I am satisfied. At first, I was a bit disappointed that my grade couldn't get higher. Actually, I knew for every mistake it would cause you a -5 from the perfect 100. I made a mistake (together with Upper, we lost the beat at the same time) but I watched our instructor mark me with a 96 instead of a 95. I am more surprised when I found out Joy Andrea and Kate received a 94. When we were practicing, Joy Andrea was graceful and during her batch's turn she was one of the few who executed the whole thing correctly till the end. This comes to show that our instructor's grading is a bit off. But all isn't lost, hopefully if we all compete together with PSC2-1 (Dorm mate Joseph's block) in the Field Demonstration and Competition during the Finals. Placing in the top positions could bag everyone in class around 4.0.

After visiting the HF Office (they are layouting now), we ate a snack at Square Canteen before proceeding to the Chapel.

That's all for now. I'm going home tonight. I have one more class to go, which is Art Appreciation. Then tonight I'll clean up my dorm and take care of a few remaining tasks related to my organizations.
