THE BOYFRIEND GIRLFRIEND CLUB
The Damage Report - Year 2 - Ending Week #24
Background Music: "Whenever I Say Your Name " by Sting feat. Mary J. Blige
NOTE: This is a weekly blog entry that summarizes a series of events of a finished week in and around La Salle.
THERE'S William & Joy.
Conrad & Ayesha.
Gainor & Teenah.
Myung & Katz.
JR & Kay.
Kuya G & Wilda.
Ryan & Rona.
Basil & Gail.
and most specially, Eric & Leah.
Then there are the hopeless romantics:
Lance, Aldrich, and Andrew for Abbie.
Tony for Erin. Alex for Gem. Jan Arian for Myla.
Me for, well, you all know by now.
Everywhere I look this past week, I see a couple holding hands. I recall the most memorable image of the week when I was crossing the street in front of Magdalo Gate and when I emerged on the other side, I was standing alone with three couples- all three couples holding hands. I couldn't take it! I ran to the side and joined another single classmate of mine.
It's Valentines in December, I swear. Love is in the air. Love problems in the evening. Love aura in the afternoon. Love everywhere.

THE WEEK IN SUMMARY
The week was all quiz and all lecture. I bought a custom notebook at the BSBA Entrepreneur Bazaar, but the people said to come back for it at a later time. Eventually, they never showed up again. Gail and I grew angry over them, we promise to hunt those people down! No one messes with the University Student Council (USC, Gail) or the Heraldo Filipino (HF, George)!
Any changes in the love department? Well, things drifted this week. My heart was still there, but the time wasn't. It wasn't right. It's hard to approach her in class because there's people there that will eventually end up teasing us again. Parang High School nga... but for the time being, I believe a "public cool down" between the two of us would be beneficial. In the end, as long as she still has a bit of patience with me... I can find the best way and best time to talk to her...
In other news, Eric had his first "deliberation" at HF. I feel sorry for him, I see him as a great writer and he's put into that situation. I had my second deliberation this school year, but as optimistic as I am and always am, whatever they said to me I used to charge-up my burnt-up batteries. I have so much work to do for HF. I always thought the HF didn't trust me, something I heard Maycee murmur to me about her not being trusted... but Maycee's exaggerated so many times... when Ate July said the HF trusts me (now that I'm a Senior Staffer), I have to believe what she says. Now that the HF trusts me, I feel much better now. I feel a new drive to write again.
I've taken pictures and when I take pictures, the words should decrease. Enjoy the rest of this entry!

FRIDAY - Ay Puke! ng Teatro Lasalliana
I made my first official excuse letter or "paalam letter" which included the names of my dorm mates that wanted to watch "Ay Puke!", an artsy Teatro Lasalliana special at Inasal. I submitted it to the E-house and eventually we would go watch.
Of course, the sisters at the e-house had no idea we were watching the TLS version of the Vagina Monologues. Heheh.
We all arrived at Inasal and the show started just before 9 o'clock in the evening. It so happened all my classmates in the TLS (four of them: Jhen, Athena, Tope, and Arjay) were part of this special production.
The show was great. The ending was the best. Joey (she's a girl ok) of COM2-3 did a fantastic ending together with the three muses of "Ay Puke!". We all laughed, we all screamed, we all enjoyed the show. Once again, my own classmates leave me shocked and drooling for more drama that they can portray so well! Excellent guys!
I enjoyed a San Mig Light followed by my first bottle of San Mig Strong Ice... WAPAAAAAK! It tasted better, but since it was curfew time (we only had until 10pm) and the show was finished already... the rush didn't make it taste that good.
I was an eighth tipsy on the way back to the dorm. I bought myself these six mini fruit-cakes from Inasal and ate them while walking back to the campus.
In the evening, Fahad (Basil's brother) slept over and he told me about Mik. I never knew Fahad was always at F5 (Mik's room). Fahad told me about the severed best friendship between Mik and Aldrich. I now have this new angle on it. I support whatever might come soon for the old best friends to get back together. At least, someone has a best friend again... mine is just months away from Orlando, Florida.

SATURDAY - Pre-Christmas Shopping at SM
I woke up and rushed to get all my things fixed. My pick-up came about three hours late, but I was still relaxed. I ate at the canteen with the people you see in the picture below. They also showed their mocking nature towards a good friend of mine. I found it offensive for them to constantly mock someone... it's like Diet-Pepsi when I say "Diet-Backstabbing". I couldn't stop them since one of them was over 20.
I spoke with Abbie as we both waited for our pick-ups. She finished her prelim in Comm Theory. We downloaded the pics from my digital camera onto her laptop. Then we opened up about life and certain events this past week. It was actually the first deep conversation I've had with Abbie. I told her about my best friend Lance and my opinions on things. I also told her who the Lance was, is, and could be. We also spoke about Andrew... so far things are escalating to a new high for them. Things are on the brink now.
Her pick-up came and we left each other smiling, since the conversation felt good. I was walking towards my dorm when my CR-V arrived. My mom, my brother, and our driver were inside. I threw in my bags and we left for the crowded SM Bacoor.
That concluded the week.
