Sadness and RAGE. Just when things start to heat up, you lose your inspiration. When there's only a few weeks left of this great college life, things get depressing again. I don't deserve this. (Sigh)
Practicum Progress: 88% complete at 176 out of 200 hours (as of 11:30PM Jan. 13).
the practicum
The 19 ABS-CBN trainees from DLSU-D were deployed to three areas: Studio 23, Production, and ANC.
Studio 23
Joy and Krystel (News Central), Abbie and Wilda (Sports TV), Mark and Anton (Wazzup Wazzup), Christian and Juno (Breakfast)
Production
Jay and Franco (Vietnam Rose), Hermie and Joyce (Maalala Mo Kaya), Kay (Myx)
ABS-CBN News Channel
Ara and George (Business News Group), Pepet, Apple, Upper and Ray (various ANC shows)
Our big brother house
The majority of us from JOU4-2 moved into a duplex unit in Brgy. Paltok on West Avenue. It is our place to stay during the restless practicum.
GMA-7 trainees
With many from JOU42 being adopted by the kapamilya, JOU41 dominates the kapuso network. The trainees here were deployed a day after the ABS-CBN training began. Majority of trainees are on QTV and morning shows.
Other sites
RPN, IBC, Ideal Minds, and Summit Publishing compose other practicum sites that other JOU students are at. Some already started during the sembreak in October.

THERE'S NO STOPPIN' 'EM!
The fourth consecutive victory on GMA-7's SOP Frontact
THE DLSU-D Pointes 'N Flexes Dance Company defeated the Centro Escolar University (CEU) Jiggers earlier on SOP making it the fourth consecutive victory for DLSU-D in this campus dance showdown.
Frontact A (Pointes) executed another heartpounding performance to the drum-savvy techno-trance song "Dark Beat (Remix)" by DJs OG and Falcon. The Pointes made use of golden bouncing balls as props to make this performance even more unique than the previous three.
The Frontact segment was held outside the SOP studio and was held in the courtyard of the GMA-7 compound. The GMA-7 tower and a statue could be seen behind the cheering crowds of the two universities.

I noticed that those that danced earlier were most likely the older members of Pointes. My dorm mate Fidel wasn't among the dancers anymore. My friend Altrinth and classmate Jeremy wearn't there.
The dance moves were awesome. I'm such a fan of the Pointes! I have taped all of their performances and announcement of victories, that's why I can provide screencaps.
As of this point, the Pointes/DLSU-D has beaten the record Ateneo held which was three weeks. In next week's performance, it will mark the fifth time the Pointes are competing.
My former organization, VPAPU was among the cheering squad of DLSU-D. They were in the front row. They focused on Jerwyn (of COM2-1) so many times, I kept laughing since I knew this guy. There was even this part he was dancing along with the music and the cameraman saw it. Ate Mimi, the president of VPAPU at the time I was in VPAPU, was also next to him. ^_^

And now, like always, the screencaps:

More power to the Pointes! I think y'all have too much power now. Don't let it get into your heads, at the same time, don't forget you guys need to
RE-PRAH-ZENT!
