KATE MAMON TURNS TWENTEEN

I'm at home and I'm calling this Good Friday as my recovery day. This past week was tiring and I loved every bit of it nevertheless. My dad returned from the Persian Gulf last sunday and brought home with him a few goodies.

I think my version of Holy Week this year is toned down. I'm reflecting, but I sense it isn't as strong as compared to previous years. Is it even right to compare? I just don't feel that spiritual these days since I used to reflect with a calm and conservative mindset compared to that liberated mindset I'm experiencing today.

Happy 20th Birthday to Kate the Great, my thesis partner, and one of my closest friends in college. I love this girl, her energy is so out there, she is so friendly, and so easy to get along with (that's why she works wonders at journalism press cons everywhere). Kate, this is a celebration for you! See you on your post-bash on Easter Sunday.

God Bless everyone and have a meaningful Holy Week.
