I HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION
All I see right now are crossroads. It's already the summer of 3rd year college and when I updated my academic folder this past week I couldn't help but notice how many subjects I've highlighted on the flowchart as "finished".
Originally we were planning to advance our Practicum but the department argued that Broadcast Journalism majors don't have the freedom to do that compared to the incoming AB Comm 4th year.
Instead, we've decided to advance Broadcast Management from 4th year 2nd semester. That would mean given I've advanced Media Ethics this past semester, come 4th year 2nd semester, I'll only have three or four subjects left prior to my application to graduate. The Practicum/On-the-job training is inclusive of those three or four subjects.
My current schedule for this summer is as follows:
0800-1000 Kursong Rizal (the last minor subject)
1000-1200 Public Relations (with JOU31)
1300-1500 Broadcast Management (petition for advance)
Of course, this schedule applies from Monday to Friday starting April 4 up until mid-May.

Near future
Lately things have changed. And just when you thought you have a chance to compromise with these changes, the whole landscape changes again. It's very irritating, but if it's all part of the master plan, let it be.
I have to make some important decisions regarding both passions and positions. I'm not so sure of my future as an incoming 4th year college student. Anything goes, actually, since I'm learning how to adapt to a future that isn't shaping up how I had pictured it.
It's like taking a picture of a subject you really prepared using a manual camera. Then the resulting picture that develops turns out exposed. Sigh.
There are so many variables and it's this uncertainty, this mysterious force behind it all, that makes it so maddening.
All I hope for is a future that is the best for everybody. I also hope that I make the right decision over what I'm doing and what I want to do.
