NOTE: This is a weekly blog entry that summarizes a series of events of a finished week in and around La Salle.
AFTER holding our first two meetings as a newly formed council, we've managed to finalize our slogan, our theme for the year, and host classroom elections in the incoming block sections.
Aside from getting business done, I've been working on making the transition from being an editor into being a student leader. I'm more conscious of my image now since I can't afford to look lousy. I have to train myself to improve my communication skills and speaking in front of people. If I'm going to get the complete faith and confidence of the people in my course, I have to project exactly that.
It's more of everything I guess. I have to network myself and turn into a philanthropist to get things done.
