THE FOREVER RAINDROP
The Conference on Appearance, Personality, and Speech held on Tuesday was evaluated as a success. We had three speakers and the flow of the program, though suspenseful in some instances, went smoothly.
It just fattens the heart when you see your council doing something that the people in Broadcast Journalism really appreciate. Kudos out to JOU1-1, for being the early birds at the event.
The first speaker was the pretty (yes, a lot called her pretty) Ms. Haydee Sy of the Languages and Literatures Department (LLD). She discussed about the importance of appearance in the broadcast industry.
The second speaker was Ms. Dang Bacosa from our own Communication Arts Department (CAD). She discussed about the importance of personality in the media. We experienced problems with her Powerpoint presentation.
The last speaker was Mr. Jose Napoleon Cuenca, a former student leader of DLSU-D during the time of big names like Victor Cuarto and Ron Gagalac. In short, almost ten years ago. He discussed the importance of speech and how to say words properly.
I leave the rest in pictures.
