Standing with classmates at ABS-CBN, priceless.

Last Friday the 26 aspiring ABS-CBN practicum trainees had their interviews at the EJL building in Quezon City. Twenty-three of the 26 are my classmates.

I was part of the first of four batches scheduled for that day, and in our 8:30 AM batch I was in the first set with Rona and Joy.

The interview with Ms. Honey Huvalla was basic.
The information we got from here however was an unpleasant surprise.

We might be deployed to soaps and teleserye's rather than news and current affairs programs. Even more disturbing is that we'll be junior production assistants. Yes, junior PA's or the "PA of the PA".

On the bright side, I am excited that I'll be boarding up with some classmates in the metropolis. That should make it all worth it, living with my classmates and being seduced by the metro.

Good luck to us all.
