TWO DAYS IN THE FOG

I'm going to do this differently. Instead of another detailed kwento about this trip, I would rather friendsterize it. Go figure, my life is public enough on this blog. I want to keep myself mysterious for once.

Seven realizations while in Baguio
1. That was Mikee Arroyo all along next to you at Starbucks.
2. Wearing cheap hotel slippers on Session Road feels so... raw.
3. Smoking never felt this great in the cold, crisp air.
4. You wish you could just live a new life in Baguio. Start over.
5. The mean-looking lady at the breakfast place wasn't mean afterall.
6. Perhaps standards would be better than family.
7. The friendly Starbucks lady taking your order, is actually a man.

Six things that I bought in Baguio
1. Something new from Girbaud.
2. A woven native bag made personalized.
3. Bamboo coasters.
4. Foot rugs for my table. (o_0)
5. Hand towels for my laptop. (o_0)
6. A pack of Lucky Strike, menthol flavor.

Five things that I ate in Baguio
1. Pork adobo at Solibao's.
2. Spaghetti and chicken at Greenwich.
3. Mango slices with salt and chili at Burnham Park.
4. Sumptuous beef at Dencio's.
5. Baked Ziti and cheese pizza at Sbarro's.

Four things that I didn't get to do in Baguio
1. Drink and have a festive nightlife.
2. Pay pilgrimage at Lourdes Grotto.
3. Do bargain shopping for unique clothes.
4. Meet new people.

Three things you should know about the trip
1. It was spontaneous.
2. It was my fourth time to go to Baguio.
3. Our hotel was conveniently located on Session Road.

Two things you shouldn't know about it
1. The crazy pictorials. (Models to the max)
2. Those frustrating moments of being jaded in the hotel room.

One thing that I enjoyed the most
1. Simply doing it so suddenly with only a few people knowing.

Of course, the pictures. They too, are unique this time.

A place that leaves all the rest outside in fog.

One fine morning on Session Road.

The core of a shopping monument.

Dancing with each other.

The inn that overlooks everything.

Good food with good friends.

Seduced by nature's fog.

No drinking involved.

Cold night.

Side mirror.

Tunnel of light.
