Destined 8th Season in the Works?
The Series Conclusion may not be the conclusion after all...
With already a line of 11 pocket books set parallel to the storylines from Season 4 to 7, and another 20 books based from all the Cataclysm-Destined crossovers and a few other episodes, an "8th Season" complete with over 22 books might be made to continue the slightly hanging storyline at the actual end of Season 7. Since the Series Finale is based about the very end of the Destined's 36 Years (which takes place quite far into the future, 2046), it leaves behind a trail of mystery after the previous episode "Battle For Control" (7.21). How did the four leave each other and go different ways? What ever happened to Jason and Eliza? What happened in those 28 other years, when all we've seen are just eight years of their campaign?
PHQ Productions cut funding for shooting beyond the 7th Season, and is focusing more on "Four Musketeers". If a series of books will be published to continue the Destined Saga, the writers and producers will pitch in and what we know is it will be filled with several surprises and some fans who have jumped upon the idea of this "8th Season" have already placed a wishlist that the actors will pose for simulated scenes in still photos in the pocket book.
