MARCHING TOGETHER IN RED
Carpe Noctem (Seize the Night) - Week #3
Tomorrow begins another five days, four nights of DLSU-D. I survived last week, and I'm looking forward to doing more then just survival this week. I spend 2 days, 3 nights back home in Tanza. The feeling back home has been ok. Only that the lack of internet time has really placed me into the negative from TOBG and CHARMED-PH. I mean, character posts at TOBG are zooming by at high speeds and I'm so proud of them for restoring faith in our group after the club-group switch. And then at CHARMED-PH, more members are joining and the forum my Kuya Luigi put up is an instant hit. I want to be active and post in several topics... yet again I'm disabled.
So here are my events for this week.
On Monday
- Tomorrow, it's San Juan Day and Manila Day (Araw ng Maynila). Gawd knows if it has anything to do with me. I just hope I don't get wet. I mean, I'm in an exposed and slow-running owner. I don't want to premiere inside the DLSU-D Campus as a backseat swimming pool. I have to safeguard all my bags! All my school pants and barong polos!
- Interview Mayham... for an assignment in LITERATURE due Tuesday.
On Tuesday
- It's going to be the return of a whole day. This time there's no wild orientation like last Tuesday. Anyways, in Literature of the Philippines the assigned classmates of mine to do a folk dance will finally perform. They have been delayed by over a week already.
On Wednesday
- Yet again another exciting half-day. Wednesdays are looking to be one of the best days' of the week. It will be Mid-Week Madness by going to the mall to watch a movie (Minority Report premieres on this day!!!) or staying on-campus to do extensive researching at the library or surfing at the net center to catch up on things... who knows.
- It's the SPORTSFEST for the COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS today, we'll be marching around campus with our banner "The Freshmen of AB Broadcast Journalism!"... I dunno. It's all up to Kuya Reyen, our Class Representative (I like to think of him as the Senator like in Star Wars, representing our planet) and Tina, our Class President (the Queen of our planet?) to come up with this.
On Thursday
- Basicly any assignments and scheduled quizzes from Tuesday will appear today. Maybe today will also be a hang-over all the events from yesterday.
On Friday
- It's a mystery, PHYSICAL FITNESS-DANCE will be today and I bet by this session we'll all be in uniforms including shorts for us guys. Some dread Physical Fitness-Dance class, however I don't see how. I mean, we are all together doing the aerobics or whatever... it's not like we're doing it alone. We're broad-journalours for goodness sakes!
Sometime during the Week
- I will drag Jhen and probably Eric with me to GMH to see if I made the VPAPU. If I don't, I have to stay strong and keep myself stable when I apply for other organizations such as the Mountaineering Club or the Taekwondo Club or the Photography peeps at F.A.S.T. (Film And Shutter T...?) or Crossbar Productions... I dunno.
- Eric and I will be talking more about the Block Website project. I guess I've been questioned now if I will make the website of our block. I keep pressing it and keeping it low... as in, I don't want to make any big announcements anytime this semester. I need to get the dynamic, the flow of the class and our block. I don't want to make a website and find out next semester our class will be scrambled. Making a website with Eric should take it's time, I want to keep it nice and easy, and steadily flowing. Meaning, I'll take my time on this one.
