A Sining-less Tuesday and Caught Inbetween Organizations

There's no Filipino today. The Professor is at some seminar. The class instantly shattered into clusters each going to different places. I for one, was caught up with fixing my bookbag that I didn't realize it was just myself and Eric left. I just found out most of my newly made friends went to Waltermart. For the past hour, I imagined the whole class was eating out at Waltermart. Instead that was false. Some went to GMH to handle their Heraldo Filipino applications, or went to eat at the Square Canteen, or went to research at the Library for tomorrow's Ecology. After eating a meal at SBC, Eric and I went to the Internet place and signed up.

Here are some updates on my crazy new life here at DLSU-D. I have been confirmed to take the Final Interview for the VPAPU, and Kuya Gotch (3rd Year Member of VPAPU) told me it's more of a briefing and it's just about sure I'm in. So, I stand stable right now. The past few days I've been avoiding that Office in GMH and their Booth on the Main Road outside since they saw me shed a few damn tears last week. But now that I think I'm in the VPAPU, it's a new feeling of relief and a growing desire to start working and meeting more people and gaining experience.

Since I wasn't so sure about the VPAPU, I joined my classmates in applying for the Heraldo Filipino or the Official School paper of this University. I'm in it for trying and for applying to become a photojournalist or simple photographer. Within the organizations that are exclusive to CLA, I'm set my eyes on the AB Comm Channel and applied for a position in two of three categories there. Those being Comm-Doc (Documentaries) and Comm-TV (hosting, VJ, etc.). It's related to Crossbar Productions so I think I can just combine my interest in joining Crossbar with the AB Comm Channel.

With all the technical stuff going on, I'm also looking for a more physical challenge of an organization. Such as the Mountaineering Club, which I have interest but I will hold off on that until my 2nd Year here. And then the closest one I'm interested in is the Taekwondo Club. Joining that would keep me M-W-F 5-8pm at the PLS (Gym).

If it sounds confusing it would all go like this. "I just need to open the door." to get into VPAPU. So I think I'm in now. The Heraldo Filipino is just a shot at trying. The Crossbar Productions/AB Comm Channel and F.A.S.T. Photographers organizations are two interests I wish to pursue that CLA-exclusive. (Note: VPAPU is DLSU-D wide). Then when it comes to Physical challenges, I got my eye on the Mountaineering and Taekwondo Clubs. If the world is wondering and saying "you're messing up your grades by doing all of that." ...well I plan to join a minimum of one and maximum of two. Gets?

Plus with living on-campus... I need something to do. It's not like I go home miles away everyday.
