What makes other sections of the Comm Department tick about BroadJourn?!
We made 3rd Place yesterday during the BUWAN NG WIKA PARADE, initially disappointing to classmates... but when we found out that 1st and 2nd Place belonged to upperclassmen, our class rejoiced once again. Usually you'd all think I would be just as happy as them. Well, then you'd be correct. But now I'm beginning to officialize that our class is the "star class" of the Comm Department if not all of First Year at CLA. We're the only section with the course code "JOU", we're Batch No. 02 of this new course made last year. But the first batch, which numbered only few... was just a baby spin-off of COMMUNICATION ARTS.
Our class is a perfect variety. Absolutely one of everyone and unique personality out there. Minus the negative ones though. I don't think we have any of that. My point is, we're not a boastful and maarte group. We're all the simple, quiet, and funny types. Well what i'm saying contradicts this post... heh heh... this post is made to express a point.
Out of the four freshmen sections of the Comm Department, we're starting to get "angst" or "static" with the other three. To remind you all: COM1-1, COM1-2, and COM1-3 "somehow along the way- versus" JOU1-1. When I started, I always had the impression that JOU11 and COMs 1-1 to 1-3 were strong allies till the end. Well it isn't so.
Oh well. YES, we are winning. No offense to my high school batch, but we all knew "Atheneum Batch 2002" wasn't as good as it's neighboring batches older and younger then us. But now in College, it's give and take... lucky shots... having the other three sections call my classmates "pok poks" (earlier). Do you think Broadjourn would just stare? NO. I was surprised along with the rest of unsuspecting classmates of mine when a girl in my class just jumped up from her seat and put her fists up saying "let me att'em" (tagalog way). All in good comedy though.
I just had to let it out.
