Downed, Dreadful, and Depleted
Blogging during the DLSU-D U-Break

Downed.

Half of the Mid-term results have been released. And yes, "I could have done much better.". Although there arn't any dramatic and drastic failures on my account... it was a set of exams that I could have studied an extra 30 minutes to bag myself five more points which makes the difference. For example, two points can determine between an 80 and a 76 instantly.

Dreadful.

Enough about that. There are clusters of events this September lining up one after another. The big cluster is next Thursday, September 12th. On September 12th and 13th, JOU1-1 will be taking it's Recollection in either Tagaytay or Batangas. On Friday the 13th at 5pm, we return back to DLSU-D. It clashes with setting up for the VPAPU Suprise Birthday Bash and Debut of officers at some swimming pool elsewhere. The evening is crammed with partying just after I returned from my first Recollection.

And if that's not enough... I'm supposed to be returning home on Friday the 13th to get ready for my cousin's wedding on Saturday morning. I'm one of the three "abay's" there and the ceremony begins at 10am. I wanted to be extra prepared for this one. This wedding coincides with the JOU1-1 "Kasaysayan at Kultura ng Pilipinas" performance, a special request of the whole College of Liberal Arts, for us to do. Since JOU1-1 won 3rd place during the Buwan ng Wika parade last month... CLA and Ms. Sarile asked our class to perform. And just this Wednesday morning, I had been assigned to do "General Douglas MacArthur's" part (very short part though).

Meaning four events are clashing towards each other like oblivion is coming. I have no idea how I'm going to schedule the events. The Recollection I cannot change. The Wedding I cannot change. The party, which is tight on planning, has only a few people working with it. I'll have to find a substitute. Fuck. I wanted to attend this party. A critical few hours with the finest VPAPU alumni and officers... I'm supposed to host a "Weakest Link" game for it to and the probationary members must perform "Lady Marmalade" again (shit!!). I'm not sure about the party, but it might be the one I'll have to sacrifice. For the sake of JOU1-1's performance on that Saturday (BTW to the planners of the Kasaysayan thing, why saturday?!),I don't know. I'll just have to hope it gets postponed.

Depleted.

Lately I've been low on supplies. I'm roughing it out in the dorm and life there, but it's the simple things. Tooth paste has runned out after this morning. I've been slamming the Gel container to get the last drops for the past two days. I forgot that I ran out of toilet paper last week and depend on an "emergency" roll. I'm low on Fresh Milk (2 more left) and low on Sunkists (2 more left). I'm high on other things though like crackers, instant noodles in cups, and change.

I guess it comes to say that I need to conduct my first "during the week" groceries shopping. I always get groceries on the day before I move back into the dorm (Sundays) except last weekend we didn't and I'm depending on the excess drinks and supplies of last week which has runned out today.

I'm surfing at ERS with a number of my classmates. Ate Angge and Erian have started blogs too! However, they are having problems getting it published. I picture this like how my best friend in the states Bryan started. He started off like "what the hell is this?!" and "george told me to start one". But now, he really uses his blog as a journal and it's frequently updated. I don't have the link yet to my classmates' blogs, and I'm hoping they grow into it soon and join me as we combine the web and our college course together. ΓΌ
