Carpe Noctem (Seize the Night) - Start of Week #28
The Lasallian Days is the big event this week. Mass Demonstrations and Open House take place this Tuesday which is the opening day. A list of activities follow all week long.
That's all I can think of saying about this week. Just wish the College of Liberal Arts some good wishes on our performance. Hopefully we don't fly out of the Oval with all the flapping we're going to be doing.
The past weekend has been spent reviewing the ceiling they have constructed for the Kitchen and Dining Room areas. With my dad on a ship near the UAE, I'm helping my mom with the house business now. I demanded a correction be made for one portion of the ceiling that was supposed to cover a hallway yet to be constructed. The corrections will be made accordingly this incoming week.
The storage house (the first independent structure aside from the house in our subdivision lot) finished last week and I reviewed it as well. I made some critisisms about the constructed air vents on three sides, and hopefully in the future we could fix this.
The status of the house over the past weekend has been messy. All three bedrooms are loaded with things from the living room and the dining room. The outside area used to have no ceiling, now about 1/3rd of it has a ceiling. Everytime I walk outside, I always stop to look up at the ceiling and wonder about the dark roofing supports that were visible in that spot for the past three years.
But finally, it's starting to take shape.

I submitted some laundry to the Laundry Stop, where Aldrich submits his laundry. I didn't submit all my laundry since it wasn't ready for the laundry shop yet. I submitted these on the way home last Saturday afternoon.
I'll be picking up the laundry on the way to school Monday morning.

I'm here now this Sunday night. I'm moving in tomorrow morning. Why? Since there's no required classes tomorrow and only General Rehearsals, I believe I could move in tomorrow morning around 8 o'clock and make it for practice which begins at that time. I know all the moves, I just need to practice them.
When I arrive in my dorm on Monday, I need to work on cleaning it up for my classmates when they visit on Tuesday. I'll also be taking loads of pictures this week.
Here's to great fun during the Lasallian Days this week!
Title in Review: "Cha Cha Cha C-L-A!" is because our Mass Demo has elements of that kind of dance and the music is kind of disco-ish but a Pilipino song from recently (like 2000 I think). It's not too short, not too long, and I think it's just right. The only problem is, I can't exactly relate it to how the theme goes. The theme, of course, is "Pamilyang Lasalyano". Hopefully we do great. Hopefully we have good coverage. Hopefully I have good coverage of our class.
