DISTRESS CALL
from Saturday, March 8, 2003

- I've let it go once. Now it's happening again. And I can't take it anymore. I've had enough.
- I'm concerned towards a close friend of mine about his future. I do everything to help him. He has to help himself too. He's shifting into my section and I encourage him since I acknowledge his potential. I give him all the support. I pray he seriously thinks about his future more.
- A research paper in [Filipino Para sa mga Banyaga] keeps dragging behind me wherever I go. Hopefully I can finish this with my AB Comm partner on Monday night.
- Biological Science and General Chemistry worry me. They sound so simple, but I have dead interest on them. Crazy as it may sounds, but I'm waiting for some of my Majors.
- In my recent Finals examination in PE-Swimming, it turned out I do better in Backstroke than Freestyle. Bullshit. I screwed that up.
- If my grade in NSTP falls anywhere below 2.75, I'm going to protest. If the class gets grades lower than that, we should all protest.
- I just found out that there's a change in the number of sections next year in the Communication Arts Department. First of all, it's disappointing that there is only one incoming Broadjourn section next year (after I started to speculate it may be two sections). The incoming students of Broadjourn will form into JOU1-1. Then, the incoming students of AB Comm first year will form into COM1-1, COM1-2, COM1-3, and COM1-4. Four sections AB Comm, One section Broadjourn. BUT WAIT, it don't stop there. I asked Ms. Noi to confirm, and it got blurry with her explanation. But, as our section becomes JOU2-1 next year, there's the existance of a COM2-4. There is no 4th section of AB Comm in our current batch. COM2-1, COM2-2, COM2-3, COM2-4?, and JOU2-1. And, lastly, with this not-so-important information... it's nice to hear the pioneer Broadjourn to be known as JOU3-1. Progress. ^_^
- She's bringing an EIC from FEU and some production person from RPN. Yep, she's bringing her friends for the debate. A debate? I have to argue on the side of Pro-War in Iraq. Problem? Anti-War is stronger. And a co-writer for the Heraldo Filipino is positioned on the opposing side and I know her powerfully critical ways can slam the debate to a close in favor for Anti-War. Although, I still believe we can throw a show... since our topic is perhaps the most relative at the moment.
