Labor Day Car Hunting

My mom's cousin, Kuya Henry, has found a few vehicles that match our search beacon. We are going to check them out today. Yesterday, he found a Model 2003 Toyota SRG-Revo for P600,000 and that's like stretching our budget three feet beyond the limit! But he said it had complete features including a TV. How tempting! And while I was commuting this past week, I've started to take note of the different looks of the many Revos out there. From the Big Taxi looking ones to the more compact ones that could go against a CR-V anytime.

But I still want a CR-V. He found one too in Makati and we're going there tonight. My Uncle Genie (who came from the United States and is here on vacation) will join us. A Green CR-V, Model 2002 (not that bad for a second-hand that was last year's model), for P600,000 as well. I think it's complete in features. My mom will do the talking to see how we can decrease that price. But I hardly think we can, since it is a very recent model.

And come to think of it, my Kuya Henry is on break from being a merchant marine this summer. He'll be training for 10 days starting next Monday. But when he gets out, and if there's any chance we have a CR-V or a REVO already... I believe he's the best person to finish teaching me how to drive. How to drive in live traffic. Hmmm... all these possibilities are opening up in May. Learning how to drive. The possibility of getting a car this month to "replace" that piece of metal on wheels (the "service/owner" jeep). Purchasing some Web Space from a local company. Hey hey hey!!

Ok, hopefully we'll find good cars. I'm going on the web to check out more about SUVs. See yaz.
