This is the first time this week I've had a chance to go here to ERS and post from my blog. First of all, I am surprised! The BLOGGER interface for Brodcst Msktir was updated two weeks ago and for a not so recent computer back home, the interace that BLOGGER has on my PC there is ugly. It's the "lo-fi" version. Here at ERS, since the computer is new and has all the recent day high-tech programs... the BLOGGER interface, the REAL BLOGGER interface is showing up here. It is awesome! So smooth. And Computer #16 is brand new! The keyboard doesn't make any sound while you type. Astig.
Anyways, with me right now is my friend from last year and now my room mate, Alex. I'm also with Abbie and Len. Classmates Leah and Upper, who remain as on-campus dormers, are also here at ERS.
Today the rain and the sun were at it. The Anti-Passivity Campaign and Parade that was to be held today by the University Student Council didn't pull through. But on the other hand, the Broadjourn Booth was there. I took some pictures as I have since last Monday. Can't wait to do the "The Damage Report" this week. Hopefully every day this week has some digipic samples.
Condition at the dorms? Weird. Very weird. The rain has made things messy. Alex and I installed the linolium last Sunday night and for it's first week... the part of the linolium near the door has muddy footprint marks left on it. And to say, it's useless to wipe clean with a mop since any minute now someone else will just march right in. And to put up a dorm mat outside? We have. But the part of the hallway in front of F3 is one of the five locations of puddles throughout the entire F-building hall. No use cleaning up at the moment.
With organizations, right now at the Heraldo Filipino I've submitted all my articles needed including the Staffers Corner for the next issue. It's editing, layouting, proofreading, and publishing that's left to do before the next wave of assignments. For the La Salleno XI-1, I'm going to work on those assignments this weekend. One of my articles is "Perversions of Divine Will" about Jihad and something else like that. Kuya Marthy the features editor, is making the premiere La Salleno this year a dark one. The bad side of humanity.
For the AB Comm Channel, it sprouted up today. It's like once you put out one fire, another one rises. Ate Abbie, Station Manager, informed me that I am now one of three Segment Producers for COM-TV. Cool. I would now love to express my ideas and have them made. Ayesha, my classmate with me in COM-TV but a semesters' worth behind, has been tasked to make the banner for AB Comm Channel for this week's recruitment.
That seems to be all. Oh wait, tonight is the official "first" Broadjourn Dormers Night Out this year. Leah, Upper, Teenah, Badge, and myself. We can bring anyone else of course. Danielle, if you're reading this, we miss you.
