Background Music:
"Mr. Bartender (It's So Easy)" by Sugar Ray

NOTE: a weekly entry that is posted before moving into the dorm inside La Salle. Includes thoughts and ideas at the start of the week.

THE interiors of the house are almost finished. I walked in last Friday night after a week at La Salle looking at the spanish-like tan tiles that reunited the Living Room and the Dining Room. The terraces were just in the starting stages.

I went into my room and like all weekends of the past, it's been air conditioned non-stop. Midnight last Friday was watching The Amazing Race 4 where the NFL wives lost. They were one of the top teams, but now it shows that anyone (even at the top) can fall because of missing the right bus or taxi. The race is now in India, for the nth time I might add. Bring them to the Philippines for goodness sakes. Mabuhay! Welcome to the Philippines. You're the first team to arrive.

I woke up around 12:30pm on Saturday. All the lost sleep of an entire week was right there. I got out of bed and heard the construction workers outside working on the terraces and the painters working on the ceilings of the exteriors.

I spent that whole afternoon surfing the web and looking for a movie to dub for next week's Speech and Oral Communication activity. I suggested "The Ring", but after watching it... it's going to be difficult. There's not much dialog. I want to do a comedy like Bridgett Jones Diary... since it does have a lot of dialog. But will it be too difficult to my team mates? Ate Jo, Wilda, and Tintin?

Speaking of things this incoming week, some commercial or song in Retorika again. Then of course there's the Reed103 skit. I'm getting lazy and it's getting confusing who my group or team mates are.

It's now Sunday and we are about to go to church. Then tonight I'm moving back in to La Salle to start another week.

Here are the four pillars.

Academics. It's the last week before the Preliminary exams and I'm trying to keep up a grade no lower than a set standard. Does it look possible right now? In some subjects, yes. In others, no. Recitation is what I need and a good score on the Prelim exam to make sure that happens.

Heraldo Filipino. The first Broadsheet of the year is to be published this week and released. I have seven articles in it including one picture. I've counted the amount of pictures I've had published ever since I've been writing for the Heraldo Filipino. If I add the seven articles due out this week, I have exactly 20 articles published. Cool. On Monday, I'm interviewing Dean Antonio. Wish me luck!

AB Comm Channel. A weekly EB meeting will now take place. Last week I didn't get much word on my suggestions about doing an "It's My Life" or "The Osbourne's"-style segment for one of the people at the admin. I'm go for that idea, I have additional concepts to go along with that.

Dormitory. Life has settled and I am now familiar with mostly everyone in my hall. However, contrast to that I don't know anyone from Building A (the building behind us). In Building B, I have Basil, Mark, Karl and them. I'm putting up the print-out signs and the "F3 Poster" of Alex, Kyle, and myself.

I'm turning 18 in a week. 18. Isn't that the starting age as a certified young adult? Wow. I'm not making a big deal out of it, but like certain things lately, I'm beginning to realize some things. I want to finish learning how to drive so I can get a license. I'm not sure how I'll be acting once I'm 18. Hopefully the same. I don't think I act immature for my age anyways. My only problem is some lack of certain responsibilities that I need to face on my own.

Kat's Debut is next Saturday and for the first time I have my own driver to take me there to San Pablo Laguna.

Cheers to a great week.
