BRING IT ON, I'M GAME
Carpe Noctem (Seize the Night) - Year 2 - Starting Week #14
Background Music:
"Officially Missing You" by Tamia

NOTE: A Weekly post made before moving back into my Dorm in La Salle on Sunday nights.

I'VE spent the weekend researching. My dad is on a ship and my mom was watching ASAP at the ABS-CBN studios. My brother was here in the house and I'm on the computer printing things.

I've researched things for Communication Theory and I've also started to take advantage of this new dial-up number Pacific Internet gave us in an attemp to rescue us from switching over to PLDT Vibe.

I also carried eyebags all Sunday long... yes, I know we all have eye bags, especially me (well, I don't notice them... no one says anything so I guess they're not that bad) but as I walked around today... I could feel them. Sleeping at 3-4am every night the past few days all crashes down on me on Sunday.

I recorded ASAP for my mom and I listened to the radio. On the Final Countdown, Radio Jockey Little Joey read my vote (for song #1, "Crazy" by Javier) and my greeting "Greetings to all on-campus Male and Female dormers of La Salle Dasmarinas and to Broadjourn2-1". Cool. That uplifted my day. But it didn't uplift my eyebags.

Basically it was Jollyfood for lunch and McDo for Dinner in my air conditioned room. Jamming to the radio, even practicing as a DJ to most of the songs. If you entered my room suddenly, you'd catch me bouncing my head from side to side and dancing slightly to whatever tune popped up.

I felt good after researching and I also fixed up my room... which is quite a mess lately. The cable still sucks.

I took a nice long hot shower as day turned into night. I entered my room to surf some more.

My mom came back and I could hear her laughter with my Ate Rose, my cousin-in-law. We had people over to watch over the house since there would be a carpenter working on something.

That seems to be all. I'm very tired.

Here now are the four pillars of my college life:

Academics/JOU2-1. I've researched at the same time realized I don't have this edge that great academics requires people to have. Friends like Teenah, Upper, Kate, Arjay, Katz, Eric, Ayesha, Arazelli... they all carry this edge. I may carry an edge in some certain things, but in over-all academics... I'm not there. And after this one certain moment last week that happened to me, I want to have an edge. And let that edge be my influence to study harder and get the best damn grades possible. (Ahem, um... PHED103 Practical on Tuesday after normal classes... KTS-6 at Lake Park on Wednesday... um... that's all)

Heraldo Filipino. I've disappointed someone greatly in the Heraldo Filipino and this person is angry at me, they don't need to say it. I'm a Cancerian and I can hear the waves hit the seashore. I take full responsibility over the article I did wrong and submitted real late... I am sorry. (Ahem... um... layouting completion and proofreading are this week... and um... uh... hopefully it all gets published and distributed by Friday or by Monday of next week)

AB Comm Channel. KTS-6 coverage, but I've got no information on my exact duties here. I'll ask... but I won't push it. I'm on a tight and new schedule here.

Dormitory/Tropa. Well, "Final Fantasy X" could basically summarize it. And Len's Birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEN!!! Tropa outings... at Robinsons Dasma?! Hmmm...
