THOSE THOUGHTS, WASHED AWAY
The Damage Report - Year 2 - Ending Week #29
Background Music: "Smoke" by N. Imbruglia
NOTE: This is a weekly blog entry that summarizes a series of events of a finished week in and around La Salle.
LIFE LATELY is just this long hang-over. This hang-over of 2003 is still looming in me, constantly making me depressed. Four years ago I was crying because of the fear of losing a perfect friendship with Joy. Four years later in College I'm here confident my friendship with Badge won't be lost if we both decide to lift it up a notch.
Well, that didn't happen.
What did happen was an unanticipated "unreactive" reaction. It was in that gap, that silence, that I realized if I really loved her I would push through. JOU2-1 can tease us together, they can make a scene out of it... but if I really loved her, I would see nothing but her whenever I was in class... I wouldn't need to consult my close friends... if I really loved her, I would be able to just walk up to her and start a usual conversation.
So as far as things go, Badge is someone I admire greatly and have a strong crush on... but when it comes to the true love I'm looking for in the eyes of whoever my first love will be... it wasn't in hers.

I'm not joking when I say I want to sink into an ocean of vodka. Or in the case of last Monday, Gin and Juice and tall party cups of Red Horse.
Monday - A long-time promise fulfilled
It was at Judy's dorm in Windward where I had an oasis of fun in a desert of unhappiness. While I was there among my friends in AB Comm 2-1, I just felt released of all tension... of all sadness.
I was laughing. I was listening to them talk. Someone even tried recruiting me into a Political Party (yes, as of this past week these Political Parties have sprouted out stronger).
I had long-promised Judy, a fellow balikbayan (from Jordan), that I'd like to join her and her friends in COM2-1 (Conie, Genesis, my old buddy in VPAPU- Jerwyn, etc.) in drinking.
Ben visited La Salle that night and I convinced Lance to join me in finding Judy's. Eventually we got to Judy's and I ended up staying overnight.
It was fun drinking with them. The drinks were endless! After the Gin Pomelo came cases of Red Horse. I made a mistake though. I was in such a hurry to return to La Salle before curfew that I rushed myself when drinking and eventually I was "kicked" by Red Horse far earlier than the rest. I went to bed early and found out they kept drinking up until 1 o'clock in the morning.
Jerwyn and Genesis were good company as well along with Conie and Judy.
Tuesday - Hangover, Volleyball, and LOTR III
