ANG MGA BIKTIMA SA HALALAN
The Damage Report - Year 2 - Ending Week #34
Background Music: "Rest in Pieces" by Saliva
NOTE: This is a weekly blog entry that summarizes a series of events of a finished week in and around La Salle.
UNORGANIZED. That one word solely describes how the students and even the aspiring officers themselves became the victims of the 2004 USC and CSC elections.
I feel sorry for the students, of which some of them cast their votes not knowing how to vote properly since the COMELEC failed to show them how.
I feel even more sorry for those running for positions, because in some way- some LUCK is needed with all the possibilities of mis-counted votes, missing votes, invalid votes, argumentative votes, etc. There really is no exact count, in my opinion.
The COMELEC, runned by selected students, was degraded this year... perhaps the administration could also be blamed. Last year's "Computerized Votes" was a success in its experimental stage- but this year it was not approved by the administration leaving the COMELEC to handle it the old-fashioned way.
It was just frustrating.
