JOU2-1 Summer Schedule
I just looked up the JOU2-1 schedule this summer, and there seems to be a problem... not for the class, but for me. Our two major subjects are both in the afternoon. The first, Newswriting and Editing is from 1 to 3pm. It is directly followed by Newspaper Management and Production from 3pm to 5pm. The two classes are in JFH 204. What's the problem? Well, if I was to advance Economics w/ LRT, there are currently no morning slots available. The same goes for Technical Writing, if I decided to advance that. And, guess what, there's three Logic slots this summer... and one of them is from 10am to 12nn. Of all signs! The world really is coming to an end here.

Fighting for what we know is right
The Pointes have been picked on by SOP twice now and DLSU-D is outraged. I've joined in this outrage by posting at the bulletin boards of Friendster asking for the sentiments of those who love and support the Pointes. Unfortunately though there've been one-sided people who simply refuse to understand or symphatize with the unfair turnout of last Sunday's competition. All those who voted have proof that DLSU-D won. I haven't heard of a single person that has proof to argue against the fact that DLSU-D won. And then they get mad at our reactions? They call us sourgrapes?! The first time SOP did this to us we were confused and angry, but we just let it go. Then it happens again and we get up and fight for it.

Dream, Believe, Survive...
Editorial Board written examination results pull in tomorrow or on Thursday morning. It's also on Thursday where, if we passed the written examination, take the Psychological Exam. Sounds freaky, but people who've experienced it say it's nothing. The Panel Interview next Tuesday (if we make it that far) is what really counts. I hope I passed the written exam... the cut-off rate is higher this year according to Ate Chiqui... it's all because of Sir Pil... the new HF adviser, who happens to be my former professor in two subjects in 1st Year college. I'm applying mainly for Features' Editor and I'm also trying out for CDE as recommended by the current EB... JP and JD are trying out for CDE as well. I hope at least one of us (Eric, Maycee, and myself- from JOU2-1) make it to the EB. I hope Tom, who I believe is the best bet for Managing Editor, gets to be the Managing Editor. ^_^

A Reunion of all kinds
On Tuesday night I joined my mom in going to Chefoo's, a popular restaurant in Cavite City. I've heard of the place since high school but only got to go there now. I was joining my mom in meeting her high school batchmates from 1971... woah. It was the 51st birthday of her cousin (and batchmate of course), Kuya Caesar... who's worked abroad several times and owns a gift shop in the Public Market here in Tanza. It was my first time in Cavite City since I slept over at Lance's house a few months ago. I saw the Padi's Point and it inspired me to go txt Nikki... my batchmate in High School... and other batchmates like Jeff and Enrico...
Looks like we're going to meet each other at Atheneum this Saturday when the Class of 2004 (Norman, Joyce, Kia, and them...) graduate. Then we'll hopefully have a night out of partying or something at Padi's in Cavite City. I also txt'd Jeff Arias, another batchmate, and retrieved Enrico's number. I haven't spoken or communicated with Enrico in ages. I remember when college began we always spoke on the phone during the weekends. He'd tell me about his new life in La Salle Manila and I'd tell him about my new life in La Salle Dasma... then as time went on we just lost contact. He replied later and sometime I'm going to give his land line a call. He's at his dorm I think until Saturday.
It felt good to communicate with my own batchmates as I was among my mom's batchmates at Chefoo's.
Jeff announced that he's planning a batch outing this summer. I hope it is successful. It's been two years already into this post-high school world, it's about time to return to our roots a bit... catch up... see what's going on.

Training Day is almost here
I'm on a verge of engaging in a fitness program. I'm going to consult a doctor or a nutritionist in the next few days. Hopefully they give me the "go" signal. I'm ready to buy Enervon HP, high protein! I've got weights ready. A sleeping schedule (hahaha) and a six meals-a-day instead of three meals-a-day scheme that will hopefully be applied. I've done my research and I'm officially known as a HARDGAINER... the first thing I must do is "SHOCK" my body by eating so much my body will just "keep busy" and I'll work out to the extreme (i'm almost 19 now, not 16 when so many people argued it's bad to work out to the extreme)... then eat lots of protein and lots of eggs to repair the damages quickly... repair the damages = building muscle, if you don't know that... hehehe.
