To enrol was like trying to win the lottery.
So the servers crashed. Or there was a glitch. Whatever the excuse was, hundreds of students trying to enrol for the summer where left disappointed. Those who came from far away places were only greeted by the constant delay of the Institutional Technology Office or whatever the heck ITC stands for.
I, on the other hand, was drifting in a happy-go-lucky mood. Although I really wanted to enrol and get it over with, I wasn't stressed out or anything. I just kept talking to people I saw. I was happy to see people again, but I wasn't too happy to the point I was depressed. Did that make any sense?
I've decided to add [Principles of Economics w/ LRT] as the subject I will advance. The two other subjects I have this summer are [Newspaper Writing and Editing] and [Newspaper Management and Production].
I arrived late at La Salle, around 1030 in the morning. I joined Tope, Arjay, and Jhen at JFH. I had just found out from my other classmates at the admin that the ITC servers crashed and that the enrolment will resume tomorrow. I didn't give up. I had to at least submit something to the ITC and get my name and a slot for the slot I wish to advance.
So, I submitted my advising forms to CBA 203 with Jhen and Tope. I returned to Square Canteen and had lunch with the tropa. Abbie was there, my classmates Leah & Eric, Basil, and of course- Mr. Ed. Haha. I miss the times we just sat at that table and hung out.

Anyways, I spent the rest of the afternoon just relaxed. I think that's the reason I wasn't that stressful today. I mean, I submitted my Advising Form to the ITC on the 2nd floor of CBA and left. I didn't bother to go back there and join the hundreds of students just sitting there waiting in the heat. I was in Square Canteen enjoying a Mango Shake, listening to music, and taking some pictures.
I accompanied Abbie to JFH and I read some of the things posted. There will be two sections again for the incoming First Year Broadjourn... that brings the total amount of sections in Broadjourn up to six now. Of all the AB Comm and Broadjourn batches, our batch is seemingly the smallest because there are only three AB Comm sections and one Broadjourn section.
I saw the petition for Intro to Journalism. I'm glad they got one started up. If Abbie and Len take that this summer, they can be our classmates in Computer Journalism next semester. I keep stressing out to them to try and be our classmates in at least one subject in 3rd Year. I hope they make it. No. I know they'll make it. ^_^
I met with my HS batchmate Juno off-campus. She was with Len at the lobby of Mama Marie's Dormitory. I joined Abbie and Len in photocopying their course cards and updating of their Academic Folders. We retreated into La Salle and hung out again at Royal Food Castle.
That was basically the whole afternoon. Relaxed. I had to wait for just about five hours before I could check the CBA if my new reg. form was printed. People kept passing by complaining of how they arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning and their reg. forms haven't been printed yet.
Tom moved his things from F10 into F9. I barely stayed in my dorm room during my visit to La Salle today. Basil and them are going to dorm outside from now on, which is disappointing news but nevertheless I've still decided to dorm inside.

We went to CBA and along the way, waves of people and friends kept passing us and telling us to turn back because the ITC is a hopeless case. They froze the release of several batches of reg. forms. We could've turned around, but I wanted to see the place myself. Tom and I eventually took pictures of the disgruntled students.

Tom, Leah & Eric left while Juno and I went up the stairs and joined Aldrich in one of the waiting rooms. Ours would be printed overnight or tomorrow morning, so we have to return tomorrow. Kuya Jomar, Jhen's older brother, is one of the people helping out at the ITC. We gave our advising forms to him so tomorrow he'll set aside our new reg. forms, and we'll just claim it.
I insisted Juno ride with me on the way home, since we are both from Tanza. We dropped her off at her house behind the Flying V and mom asked us to go to the Sta. Cruz cemetary because it was my late grandparents wedding anniversary this past week.

We had take-out at McDo and we went home. Then of course, tomorrow... I return to La Salle to retrieve what I hope is a successful brand new reg. form with all three subjects loaded. Then we pay for it.
About the title "The Reg. Form Machine Crashed", don't get confused! Something's up with the computer system... the machine (printer) should be working fine.
