NOTE: This is a weekly blog entry that summarizes a series of events of a finished week in and around La Salle.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! It's 2005! Yes! No! In a year and a half I'll be graduating from college and I don't want that to happen yet.

I spent new year with my mom and my brother. It was a simple new year for the three of us in the house. We lit up a few pieces of fireplay and had a traditional buena noche or whatever they call it. Hehe.

And on January 2, we held my brother's 16th birthday party. His birthday is actually on the 5th but it's a school day. It reminded me when I celebrated my 16th birthday, almost everyone in the senior high school class went to our house.

The difference? My mom had a catering service do all the work this time. It's the first time we had formal catering for a party in our house. My mom was very relaxed about it. Lots of people came, relatives and all.

Anyways, I'm in a rush to return to La Salle tonight and scrub my dorm room clean as well as arrange paperwork for the school week ahead.
