THE FIRST IS LEAVING
The first friend I ever made in the Philippines, Lance, is leaving in a few days. The two of us have parallel backgrounds since we both come from US Military families. Our first day of school was coincidently at the same time, which was in early December of 1998.
In high school, we were close friends dealing with the culture shock. I can honestly say that we were only close during high school. As college swept in, we drifted apart mainly due to our differences. We've still communicated though from time to time.
Here is Lance in recap from the past six years.
1st Year HS - During Miss Atheneum 1998.
2nd Year HS - During a field trip in Manila.
3rd Year HS - I hitched a ride with him for Junior Prom.
4th Year HS - During Graduation in April 2002.
1st Year College - As room mates in F3, with Jan Amogawin.
2nd Year College - Hooked on oil-absorbing strips.
3rd Year College - During Christmas 2004 in Tanza, Cavite.
Lance is going to join his family in the states. His family moved last year. He will be continuing his medical studies there.
Related departures? Bryan, my HS best bud, left in April 2002.
Lance leaving for the states means that the triad of M-Bratz no longer exists, hehe. Aldrich is the other "member" of this triad.
