There's rain at the start of super September. This past week the Midterms took place. We only had a scheduled written exam in one subject, Educational Broadcasting. The rest of the week I spent furnishing my OJT requirements and eating out at SM Dasma.

After my mini-adventure to Taal Volcano last Sunday, I spent my holiday Monday with Tom in Manila. Tom made purchases to upgrade his laptop and I wanted to satisfy my craving for Sbarro.

Tom and I chilling near Starbucks at Greenbelt.

Sbarro Pizza Supreme and Baked Ziti (Yummy!).

We first rode the LRT to get to Pedro Gil station where we met up with this dealer who sold Tom extra RAM for his laptop. I enjoyed a halo-halo petite at Chowking there.

We returned to Edsa station and boarded an MRT that led us to Ayala station. And from there we went in circles at G4 and ended up at Greenbelt where we searched for the Apple Center. We saw these models from the Close-up commercial.

Eventually we enjoyed Starbucks and I convinced Tom to go back to G4 with me in satisfying my Sbarro craving.

Tom bought this protective cover for his iBook keyboard.

From Sbarro to Shawarma. Another craving made satisfied. I invited some CLASC friends out to a merienda-dinner at Alibaba's Middle East Food Haus at bayan. With us was ComDev president Gloria, Jaime of Psych Program Council, Ize the CLASC Vice President, and AJ the president of Psychology. Jess, CLASC Auditor, catched up with us as well.

Glo, Jaime, and Ize enjoying Shawarma.

I also had my 2x2 and 1x1 pictures taken at the nearby photo shop. I wasn't satisfied with their services.

Me with AJ.

We spontaneously decided to go to SM Dasma as well to sing some videoke. I sang "Eternal Flame".

AJ, Jess, and Glo.

It was raining a lot this past week and on Friday the strong rain was so tempting. I wanted to just jump in the rain and have fun. Actually, being in uniform, it was impossible and looked unbecoming during an exam day. Instead, I had Upper take my picture.

Kuba in the rain.

Of course, I was also happy with the turn-out of my resume which was printed on an 8x10 photo paper at SM Dasma.

My resume for ABS-CBN.

It's only one page and it doesn't include all the seminars and workshops I've attended. I've kept it simple to point out my skills and experiences in three key areas namely production, leadership, and publication.

Regarding my OJT, according to the practicum coordinator, all those who signed up on the first 25 for ABS-CBN have sure slots. That would mean (since I was coincidently the first to sign up), I have a sure slot for ABS-CBN. Though I'm more of a GMA-7 person, I'm giving this a shot.
