BJPC: ALT-J EXHIBIT & CHRISTMAS OUTREACH
On being thankful these happened, and people were safe

I was pleased that my officers pushed through with the ALT-J Exhibit and Orange Christmas outreach program. As of Monday I appointed Mark (our Secretary) as the OIC of the BJPC until the OJT of the fourth year ends.

Our support for those in our line.

Our first exhibit for this semester.

Our Alt-J (Alternative Journalism) Exhibit involved each block section giving out their slogan in support for media freedom. We came up with the exhibit as a means of displaying support at the same time enlightening others that not all news and media exists on big networks.

Posing in front of the exhibit.

The exhibit was on display during the Prelim exams week from December 12 to 16. It was located in front of JFH 105.

On the other hand, the outreach program with HF turned out to be a dramatic escape sequence when we were overwhelmed by the number of kids and the culture of a community going crazy over gifts. In terms of collecting donations from our fellow broadjourn (and HF staffers), it was a success. In terms of throwing a Christmas Party, we never got the chance to do it.

What was important though is that we dedicated some time for this and managed to win some smiles in our games with the children.

The rest I leave in pictures.

The only sign of Christmas joy.

Hands reaching out.

Merry Christmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas...

Crowd control.

Checking on Jerson.

It's her turn on the microphone.

Happy.
